Postingan ini saya buat atas request dari seorang teman yang bertanya bagaimana foto bokeh dan cara membuatnya.
Sebelumnya ada baiknya kita mengetahui definisi dari bokeh tersebut, kemudian baru kita membahas tentang bagaimana cara membuat foto bokeh tersebut
Bokeh aslinya berasal dari sebuah kata dalam bahasa Jepang yang berarti ‘menjadi kabur’, jadi foto bokeh adalah karakteristik foto yang menonjolkan sebuah obyek utama yang fokusnya sangat tajam sementara latar belakang (dan atau depan) yang sangat kabur, atau dalam bahasa Inggris selective focusing.
Bokeh bisa dicapai dengan menggunakan setting kamera dengan bukaan (f) yang lebar. Sekarang banyak dipasaran jenis lensa yang mempunyai rentang bukaan yang lebar sehingga kedalaman ruang (DOF) akan sangat terasa dengan menghasilkan foto yang blur pada bagian belakang dan tajam pada objek utama.
Beberapa tips untuk menghasilkan foto bokeh diantaranya.
1. Mode kamera anda pada mode manual (M), bisa juga menggunakan mode Aperture (A) pada kamera Nikon.
2. Set bukaan kamera (f) pada bukan lebar misalnya pada f/4.0 atau f/2.8, semakin lebar maka hasil fotonya nanti akan semakin bokeh. Beberapa jenis lensa yang bisa digunakan untuk mencapai bokeh yang menawan adalah
b. Nikon 50mm f/1.4D dan masih banyak lagi jenis lensa lainnya. Macam-macam jenis lensa

3. Pertimbangkan jarak antara objek utama (FG) dengan latar belakang (BG), usahakan jarak antara anda dengan Objek utama lebih dekat dan antara objek utama dengan latar belakangnya lebih jauh mungkin ilustrasi dibawah ini bisa membantu anda.
4. Banyak berlatih.
Beberapa orang bisa mencapai foto bokeh dengan mengeditnya dengan menggunakan Photosop. Itu sah-sah saja namun mendapatkan hasil foto bokeh langsung dari kamera anda akan berbeda rasa dan feelnya. Postingan berikutnya TUTORIAL MEMBUAT FOTO BOKEH DENGAN PHOTOSHOP.

om.... Bokeh yang ada objek ny di muka harus pkai lighting kah?.
khairullah : kalo mmg mo menampakkan model. perlu lah kita menggunakan lighting meski pake built-in flash (lampu body) tp lihat juga keadaan tempat pemotretan kalo cahayanya memadai lighting bisa tdk digunakan.. oke...??
